Great news for the Dutch skate culture and the Rotterdam scene especially: Westblaak skatepark gets an additional € 600.000,-  to help the redevelopment of the outdated, steel skatepark! The total available budget is now € 900.000,- making it possible to make this a truly professional skatepark with international appeal. Below are some angles of the design which is still under development but it already shows signs of becoming the leading public skatepark in the Netherlands. Congratulations to all people involved in this project and the city council of Rotterdam for understanding the true value of a professional urbansports facility and providing it’s youth with the necessary infrastructure!
