This skatepark at the Nieuwmarkt was of a similar quality as those at the Nieuwe Meer or stadspark Osdorp meaning that it’s not very good unfortunately … this park was made from stainless steel and featured two hips, a bank to bank and a little spineramp. Perhaps not the best example of thinking things through city planning placed these obstacles right besides a geriatric home. As a result heaps of complaints were made and the skatepark had to be removed one year after it’s completion.
